Decorating a New Year

newyearsfeautured

When a new year rolls around, you can choose how to celebrate it. You can celebrate a joyous new beginning, or you can be sad about another year slipping away. You can make plans for an exciting future, or you can lament the things you didn’t get around to doing.

Me? I redecorate my life.

When the Christmas decorations come down (and that’s December 26th in my house, since I like to get on with things) I seize the opportunity to make changes. I’m not “out with the old” if I like the old, and I’m not “in with the new” unless it’s something extraordinary, but I sure shuffle some things around. That’s true of furniture, and it’s true of everything else in life.

So this year, as soon as the garland is back in the boxes, see what fun new things you’ve got room for in your life. To help you along, here are a few of my favorite posts from 2018.

Here’s wishing you the absolute best in the New Year!
